Drive through barbecue fundraisers draw huge crowds

This event, organized in collaboration with the Caine DuPage Salt and Water Conservation District and Iowa State University, will take place at 8 AM at the Farm Bureau office on Randville Road in Saint Charles. Additionally, the meeting addressed the ongoing success of drive-through barbecue fundraisers held every Thursday throughout the summer. The initiative, now in its third year, has seen a strong turnout, averaging around 500 meals per event. Organizers noted that they have streamlined operations to improve efficiency, having reduced the menu from seven or eight options to just four entrees. This change aims to minimize wait times for patrons, enhancing the overall experience while still generating contributions for the foundation.
