Brookfield unveils ambitious zoo revitalization plan

The zoo plans to present these developments to the board in a future meeting for community engagement.

Trustee Garvey also shared a heartfelt letter from Frank Clark, a Navy veteran and the grand marshal of the recent Fourth of July parade. Clark expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized the importance of community service and unity.

The meeting concluded with the passage of the omnibus agenda and a resolution to amend the lead water service line fund policy, removing the elective private service line replacement component. The motion was unanimously approved by the trustees present.
