Community comes alive with summer events and food truck rally

The Recreation Division is gearing up for a vibrant summer season, highlighted by the inaugural Neighbourhood Night event taking place this evening at Fort Howard. This special event will feature a movie in the park, aiming to foster community engagement and enjoyment.

In addition to the Neighbourhood Night, the division has launched a variety of summer programs, including day camps and rookie soccer leagues, which are currently in full swing. The excitement continues with the third food truck rally of the season scheduled for Thursday night at Ashwaubomay Park, featuring live music from Nashville Pipeline. With a promising weather forecast of 79 degrees and sunny, organizers are hopeful for a successful turnout, especially after the less favorable conditions of previous events.
