City Council Approves Controversial Development Plan Amid Public Outcry

In a recent government meeting, council members discussed significant zoning changes affecting over 1,000 acres in the area, particularly around West Rosemont Parkway and US Highway 75. The proposed development plan includes a mix of residential options, including single-family homes, townhomes, and multifamily units, with a total of 3,000 multifamily units and 2,000 single-family units planned.
