Community festival celebrates heritage with music and food fun

In a recent government meeting, officials outlined an exciting cultural event focused on celebrating the heritage of Canada and Scotland. The event will feature a variety of activities and performances that highlight the contributions of these countries to the local community.

Among the highlights, Casey Jackson will showcase heavy man weights, while a bagpipe band will provide insights into the significance of their music and its preservation. The event will also include demonstrations of Dream Catchers and Lacrosse, both of which have roots in Central Canada, with royal participation in the arts and crafts segment.

Gunnar Gish will lead a presentation on historical firefighting techniques from the 1850s, adding an educational component to the festivities. Additionally, Tapest Way will introduce their plans for a new location in the city, promising to engage the community with food trucks and vendors. Jason Merriweather has been selected as the primary food vendor, ensuring quality offerings while keeping the event accessible, as most activities will be free of charge.
