Crimson View School, now entering its tenth year, proudly maintains its status as a platinum STEM school, the highest designation awarded by the state. During a recent meeting, school representatives highlighted significant achievements, including improved RISE scores in language arts, math, and science, with 84% of students demonstrating typical or above typical growth in Acadian scores.
The school has a long-standing commitment to technology, having implemented a one-to-one device program with iPads and Chromebooks since its inception. This year, the school has expanded its focus on internet safety, developing a curriculum led by a group of dedicated parents. Their initiative aims to educate students across the district, with plans to share the program with other districts statewide.
In addition to academic achievements, Crimson View emphasizes hands-on learning through monthly STEM days. Recently, students engaged in creating stop motion videos, showcasing their creativity and technical skills. The school also invites community experts to participate in these events, enriching the educational experience.
Crimson View's commitment to high educational standards and community involvement continues to foster a supportive learning environment, ensuring that students not only achieve academically but also grow personally and socially.
