Jersey City honors music legends during Black Music Month

During a recent government meeting, Jersey City officials celebrated Black Music Month by honoring local musicians and contributors to the music industry. The council unanimously voted to defer several resolutions before proceeding to recognize a series of honorees for their significant contributions to music and culture.

Councilperson Ridley opened the discussion by congratulating the award recipients, emphasizing their impact not only on Jersey City but also on the broader music landscape.
