Developer tackles national housing crisis with innovative solutions

In a recent government meeting, Ben Snyder, CEO of the Pronghorn Group, presented a proposal for a 224-unit workforce housing master plan community aimed at addressing the growing housing affordability crisis. Joined by veil engineers Greg Allen and Shane, Snyder shared insights from his extensive background in real estate development, which spans several generations and locations, including Central Illinois and Northern Arizona.

Snyder highlighted the urgent need for affordable housing, a challenge brought to light by a major employer in Arizona seeking solutions for its workforce. He emphasized that the initiative is not driven by profit but by a commitment to solving the housing crisis, particularly for essential workers such as teachers. The Pronghorn Group has already conducted soil, drainage, and utility studies on a proposed 15-acre site to ensure the feasibility of the project.
