Massive new turf field set to transform local soccer

During a recent government meeting, officials provided an update on the ongoing turf project at the local soccer and football fields, highlighting significant progress and community involvement. The new soccer field, which is notably 16 yards wider than its predecessor, is nearing completion. Observers noted that from an aerial view, the field appears almost finished, with the logo already in place and the turf laid down.

Project manager Jeff reported that the team is working diligently, with dirt removal nearly complete. The installation of electrical equipment is scheduled for July 8, and fill is expected to be added to the field starting Wednesday. Following this, final grading and hydroseeding will take place, with hopes to have the soccer field ready for use by July 1.

Additionally, the football field is on track for completion, with a turnover date set for August 1. The project has garnered substantial community support, with private donors contributing nearly $3.5 million to fund the installation of turf fields at both the soccer stadium and the football field.
