Residents voice flood concerns over new housing development

The resident pointed out that recent heavy rainstorms have overwhelmed the retention ditch behind their home, raising alarms about its capacity to handle increased runoff from new developments.

Another resident, Claire Taylor, shared her concerns about a proposed retention pond on her property, which is intended to help mitigate flooding risks. She mentioned that the developer, Mr. Greenwood, is experienced in grading and drainage but expressed uncertainty about city regulations that might affect the project.
