Developers unveil ambitious plans for Pole Canyon project

During a recent government meeting, officials discussed the ongoing Pole Canyon project, which has been in development for over a decade. The meeting featured a presentation from representatives of DAI, a land development company involved in the project, who emphasized their long-standing relationship with the city and their commitment to responsible growth.

Nate Shipp and David Vitek from DAI provided an overview of the project, highlighting its existing development agreement and the various amendments made since its annexation in 2010. They noted that the project is designed to include multiple neighborhood planning areas and has the potential for approximately 9,600 equivalent residential units (ERUs). However, they expressed concerns about recent changes to the city’s development code, which could impact the project's viability and the types of housing that could be built.
