Community gears up for exciting carnival block party

The recent government meeting highlighted plans for an upcoming community event, the CRB Carnival Theme Block Party, scheduled for June 29th at Meacham Field from 11 AM to 4 PM. Organizers are seeking 15 to 20 volunteers to assist with various activities, including managing bounce houses, carnival games, and treat stations featuring snow cones, cotton candy, and popcorn.

The event aims to foster community engagement and is expected to attract a significant turnout, with outreach efforts already underway to local organizations. Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy music from a DJ and participate in gift card giveaways, with $500 in Wegmans gift cards set to be distributed to five families.

In addition to the carnival, a parade for Syracuse CMY Bridal is planned for the same month, with details to be shared soon. Organizers emphasized the importance of board member participation and encouraged community members to volunteer, noting that contributions do not require a full day of commitment.
