Holly City Fest showcases remarkable growth and community spirit

The recent Holly City Fest has been hailed as a significant success, showcasing marked improvements from its inaugural event last year. Attendees noted a substantial increase in participation and better organization, with commendations directed towards the parks and police departments for their roles in facilitating the event.

One attendee, who was present from the start to the end of the festival, highlighted the diverse range of vendors, which included unique offerings such as organic pet food produced locally in Egg Harbor. The event featured 77 registered vendors, with approximately 70 participating, reflecting a strong community engagement effort led by city officials Sam and Brooke.

Looking ahead, the city is preparing for a 9/11 grievance ceremony scheduled for 6 PM on September 11 at Buck Park, with a contingency plan to relocate to the fire station in case of rain. This ceremony aims to honor the memory of that pivotal day in history, inviting public participation.
