Community unites for global Harambee walkrun event

During a recent government meeting, officials discussed the growing global participation in the Harambee walk/run event, which has attracted registrants from various countries, including Kenya and other parts of Africa, as well as numerous participants across the United States. The event, which emphasizes community engagement and fitness, has transitioned into a worldwide initiative, reflecting its expanding reach and significance.

Alderman Dimitri Dimitrijevich proposed a motion to approve the event, which received unanimous support from the committee. Additionally, there was a suggestion to include the entire committee as co-sponsors, further solidifying their commitment to the initiative.
