Developer reveals ambitious waterfront community project plans

In a recent government meeting, developers presented an ambitious waterfront project in Danbury Township, showcasing significant advancements in residential and recreational infrastructure. The project, which spans 15 acres, features a newly excavated marina with over 200 boat slips and the potential for an additional 50. This development includes 14 large single-family home sites and a series of waterfront condominiums designed to maximize views with rooftop decks.

The presentation highlighted various amenities aimed at enhancing community engagement, including a clubhouse, swimming pool, playgrounds, volleyball courts, and designated fishing areas. The developers emphasized that these facilities are accessible to all residents, regardless of housing type, with a nominal association fee supporting maintenance costs.

The project has seen substantial interest, with hundreds of condominium units sold and only a few remaining. Developers are also expanding their offerings with new duplex units to meet demand for larger living spaces. The site is strategically located near Sandusky Bay, providing a tranquil environment for water activities, including jet skiing and boating.

Looking ahead, the developers expressed intentions to extend their efforts into Huron, where they plan to replicate the successful model established at Marblehead Estates. They noted that approximately 75% of their buyers come from the Cleveland area, indicating a strong market presence and confidence in continued sales.
