Library on Wheels brings community together with exciting events

In a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the successful outreach efforts of local library services, which engaged over 800 individuals through various events in September. Notably, the library issued 21 new library cards during these outreach activities, which included collaborations with the North Dakota Autism Center and participation in community events such as the West Fest parade and family history workshops.

Looking ahead, the library plans to continue its outreach with the \"Library on Wheels\" initiative, scheduled to make stops at The Lights on October 21 and Junkyard Brewing on October 24. This mobile service aims to provide a diverse range of resources tailored to the specific audience at each location, catering to all ages rather than just children.

Additionally, the library will celebrate Teentober, an initiative by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), by hosting a series of Halloween-themed events for teens every Thursday throughout October. These efforts reflect the library's commitment to community engagement and accessibility, ensuring that services are available to a broad demographic.
