Town Council Steps Up to Save Robotics Program

During a recent town council meeting, key discussions centered around the upcoming general election and support for the Mount Hope High School Robotics team.

Clark Cordero provided essential details regarding the general election scheduled for November 5th, emphasizing that voting hours will be from 7 AM to 8 PM. He encouraged residents to visit the town's website for information on voting precincts and highlighted that early voting will commence on October 16th at the Reynolds School Building. Cordero also reminded attendees that the deadline for mail-in ballot applications is October 15th, urging everyone to participate in the electoral process.

The council then shifted focus to the robotics team at Mount Hope High School, which faced potential disbandment due to funding shortages.
