Tragic crash claims mother and two children lives

A tragic incident occurred on September 27th at Mount Hope in Cochrane, resulting in the deaths of a mother and two of her children. According to police reports, the fatal crash involved a van driven by a female who was traveling westbound when she failed to stop at a stop sign. The van entered the intersection of North Cochran Road and was subsequently broadsided by a semi-truck hauling an empty trailer traveling northbound.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) arrived at the scene and confirmed that the mother and two of her children were deceased upon their arrival. A third child was transported to Sparrow Hospital with serious injuries. Authorities described the crash as horrific, highlighting the severity of the incident.
