Kern County officials face scrutiny over election integrity issues

During a recent Kern County government meeting, discussions highlighted critical issues surrounding election integrity and local governance. One key topic raised by a community member was the condition of drop boxes for ballots, particularly at the Holloway Gonzalez Library, which is currently closed for remodeling. The speaker emphasized the importance of ensuring these drop boxes are well-lit and secure, especially given recent warnings from the U.S. Postal Service about potential delays in mail delivery for ballots.
