Mayor proclaims POW MIA Recognition Day to honor veterans

During a recent government meeting in Overland Park, Kansas, Mayor Curt Scoop announced the proclamation of September 20, 2024, as POW MIA Recognition Day. This annual observance, held on the third Friday of September, aims to honor and remember the nation's prisoners of war and those missing in action.
