Bipartisan broadband initiative faces major delays and dysfunction

The initiative, aimed at providing high-speed internet access to millions of Americans, has faced criticism for its lack of tangible results since its enactment over 1,000 days ago.

Despite the bipartisan support for the program, no homes or businesses have been connected to the internet, and infrastructure projects are not expected to commence until at least next year, with some delays extending to 2026.
