Additionally, Shenandoah Dairy has reported losses, including damage to maternity and commodity barns, as well as the unfortunate loss of cattle due to fallen trees and compromised fencing. The dairy has expressed urgent needs for fencing materials, including T-posts, corner posts, and barbed wire, which have yet to arrive. Meanwhile, local cattlemen's groups have mobilized to assist in repairs and recovery efforts in the affected areas, demonstrating community resilience in the face of adversity.
