Teacher's Legacy Celebrated as He Enters Retirement

During a recent government meeting, the accomplishments and contributions of a dedicated educator, Steve Badger, were highlighted as he prepares for retirement after many years of service at Marlboro Middle School. Badger has been recognized for his unwavering support of the middle school program, actively participating in events and assisting in various capacities.

In 2001, the Marlboro Education Foundation (MEF) initiated a teacher tribute program to honor outstanding educators, and Badger was nominated by parents who praised him as an exceptional teacher, mentor, and friend. One parent expressed her gratitude in a letter to the superintendent, commending Badger's patience, kindness, and commitment to ensuring that no child is left behind. She noted that he embodies the spirit, character, and excellence in teaching, consistently encouraging students to excel.

As Badger transitions into retirement, he plans to spend quality time with his family, including his wife, Chaim, and children, Serena, Matthew, and Mario.
