County Commissioner Faces Backlash Over Leadership Failures

Another resident, Rebecca Patrick from Allendale, expressed her opposition to the proposed appointment of Ben Wetmore as interim county administrator. She pointed out that Wetmore had previously been considered for the role but received no votes from the board at that time, questioning the rationale behind his current nomination. Patrick argued that the board's lack of confidence in Wetmore should disqualify him from the position.
