City faces backlash over traffic safety neglect

Residents argued that West Court Street, which sees significantly more foot and bicycle traffic, requires urgent attention to ensure safety.

Community members called for the installation of speed cushions and a reduction of speed limits to 25 mph on West Court Street, emphasizing that immediate, practical solutions are needed rather than prolonged studies that yield little progress. The meeting underscored a growing frustration among residents regarding the city's prioritization of projects and the urgent need for action to enhance safety in their neighborhoods.
