City plans ambitious vision for downtown and parks development

The planning commission and stakeholders are currently refining the scenarios based on public feedback, with a call for further input to finalize the vision. The process is designed to be transparent and inclusive, allowing residents to express their preferences and contribute to the decision-making process.

Additionally, discussions included collaboration with the county on potential trails, with officials noting that the county has an existing trails plan. They mentioned two significant projects currently underway in the county: the development of a mountain bike track and a connector trail between Mountain Green and Morgan, which involves navigating multiple land ownerships.
