Tacoma proclaims Indigenous Peoples Day to honor heritage

During a recent government meeting in Tacoma, Mayor Victoria R. Woodards proclaimed October 14, 2024, as Indigenous Peoples' Day, honoring the contributions and rights of Indigenous peoples, particularly the Puyallup tribe.
