New venue promises vibrant nightlife and live music experience

In a recent government meeting, discussions centered around the proposed operations of Mint Hospitality Group, which plans to transform a former brewery space into a vibrant entertainment venue. The location, owned by River Ford LLC and zoned UIX, is set to host live music, dancing, and DJ events, aiming to fill the gap left by the previous tenant, Wanderinger Brewing Company.

Brian Joyce, representing Mint Hospitality, detailed the venue's capacity, which is approved for 200 occupants, and outlined operational hours from Tuesday to Saturday, with closing times varying from 11 PM to 2:30 AM depending on the day. The venue will primarily cater to a 21-and-over audience, although exceptions may be made for private events.

The facility boasts a spacious 6,000 square feet of indoor space, complemented by a patio area that can accommodate an additional 30 to 40 patrons. Joyce emphasized the venue's design, which retains features conducive to live performances, including a stage and DJ booth.

Concerns regarding noise levels were addressed, particularly given the proximity of a hotel. Joyce reassured the board that previous operations had not generated complaints, citing the building's robust construction and surrounding industrial environment as mitigating factors for potential disturbances.
