City Council Considers Purchase of Controversial Golf Course

During a recent city council meeting, discussions centered around the potential acquisition of the Brookdale Golf LLC property, currently under contract with the South Sound YMCA. The city council is considering a purchase agreement that would allow the City of Yelm to acquire the property for $2.6 million, which includes valuable water rights and existing infrastructure.
