City officials celebrate record voter turnout and community engagement

Attendees reported on the League of Wisconsin Municipalities Conference held from October 23rd to 25th, which focused on critical topics such as housing, economic development, community engagement, and municipal debt. The conference also featured sessions on marketing, communication, and innovative funding strategies, emphasizing the importance of attracting a talented workforce.

In local news, the Hoard Historical Museum hosted the opening reception for the Blackhawk artist show and sale, which will be on display until November 21st. The event underscores the city’s commitment to cultural initiatives.

The meeting also celebrated the success of the recent election held on November 5th, which saw an impressive voter turnout of 94.65% of registered voters.
