City breaks ground on ambitious mixed-use community project

In a recent government meeting, significant developments were discussed regarding the ongoing construction and planning of the Apex/Pinnacle project in Meridian. Key highlights included the completion of various infrastructure projects, including a mile and a half of Locust Grove and a new fire station, which have facilitated the development of recreational areas and residential neighborhoods.

The project will introduce a new preliminary plat for 381 homes, six commercial lots, and 60 common area lots, with a commitment to maintaining 28.7% open space. The developers remain optimistic about delivering a livable mixed-use community that aligns with the city's comprehensive plan.
