County secures grant to boost local food security

In a recent government meeting, officials discussed a significant interagency agreement with the Washington State Department of Agriculture aimed at enhancing food security in the region. Local food banks, including the Port Angeles Food Bank, Forks Food Bank, and Palm Bay CQ Food Bank, are set to benefit from this initiative, which aims to strengthen their collaborative efforts in providing assistance to those in need.
