Council honors World War II veteran with lifetime achievement award

Additionally, council members reported on local developments, including the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Summit Truck Body, a new business that has relocated from the Portland area to Northeast 10th Avenue. The company, which is employee-owned and offers competitive wages, has consolidated its operations under one roof, benefiting 65 employees who will now have shorter commutes. Council members praised the efforts of the Columbia River Economic Development Council (CREDC) and its representative, Clint Hendrix, for facilitating the business's move to Clark County.
