Concerns Rise Over Traffic Safety in New Development Plan

In a recent government meeting, discussions centered around the proposed development of a new site adjacent to a Meijer store, focusing on traffic safety and site access. Concerns were raised regarding the proposed access point off Smoky Road, which is currently temporary. As the Meijer development progresses, a median will be installed, restricting left turns from Smoky Road. This change has led to questions about the adequacy of the current access, especially given the anticipated traffic congestion at the intersection with State Road 135.
