Sunny Hill earns prestigious 5 star rating for care

Sunny Hill, a long-standing facility established by public referendum in 1968, has recently achieved a prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). This rating reflects the facility's commitment to providing high-quality, resident-centered care.

The facility underwent a comprehensive renovation in 2016, enhancing both its physical structure and the living conditions for residents, most of whom now enjoy private rooms. The Friends of Sunny Hill, a dedicated volunteer group, is set to celebrate its 35th anniversary in 2025, highlighting the community's ongoing support for the facility.

In addition to its care services, Sunny Hill is a familiar sight in Weld County, participating in local events such as the annual Christmas and Easter parades, further solidifying its role as a community hub.
