Holiday in Paradise promises festive fun for all ages

The City of West Palm Beach is gearing up for its annual \"Holiday in Paradise\" celebration, featuring a series of festive events throughout December. The festivities kick off with a tree lighting ceremony on December 5th, coinciding with the Clematis by Night event, which will include live music from Uncle Morty's Rhythm Cream and a holiday gift boutique with over 30 vendors.

Highlighting the month’s activities, Sandy, a beloved holiday figure, will be present at various events, including a pancake breakfast on December 8th and a movie night on December 13th, showcasing Disney films featuring llamas. The pancake breakfast, priced at $17 per person, promises not only delicious food but also a chance to meet Santa and enjoy a ride on the Ferris wheel, affectionately named Ferris, which will be operational during the breakfast.

The Ferris wheel, a 55-foot attraction, will be open nightly from 6 PM to 10 PM, offering breathtaking views of the waterfront. Attendees are encouraged to capture memorable moments with photos, especially during the holiday light shows that illuminate the area.

Other notable events include the Aloha Islanders tropical show on December 15th and a jazz tribute to Ella Fitzgerald on December 18th. Both events require tickets, which can be purchased in advance through the city’s website.

City officials recommend planning visits early in the day to enjoy the full range of activities, including the Green Market and various dining options along Clematis Street.
