VFW Celebrates 125 Years of Service and Sacrifice

In a recent government meeting, Elmwood Park officials celebrated the 125th anniversary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) of the United States, proclaiming September 29, 2024, as VFW Day. Mayor Claudia Colletti led the recognition, highlighting the VFW's long-standing commitment to advocating for veterans and their families since its founding in 1899.
