Albany County moves to ban camouflage vaping devices

During a recent government meeting, officials discussed a proposed local law aimed at amending Albany County's regulations regarding vaping devices. The proposed legislation seeks to prohibit the sale of camouflage vaping devices within the county.

Assistant Commissioner of the Health Department, Branson Moore, addressed the assembly in the absence of Commissioner Doctor Simmons, who is currently on vacation. Moore expressed concerns regarding the implications of the proposed law, indicating a need for further discussion on the matter.

Max Farris, the director of the Environmental Health Division, was also present to provide insights into the issue. The meeting highlighted the growing scrutiny surrounding vaping products, particularly those designed to appeal to younger audiences through camouflage designs.
