The presenter said the department provides women's health services "just like you would go to a GYN," including Pap smears and birth control, and that family-planning options are available at the clinic. "Just like you would go to a GYN to get your Pap smear or to get birth control, family planning options, we have all of those options available," the speaker said.

The representative also stressed confidentiality for STI testing, saying the health department is a place patients can go if they lack a private physician or are uncomfortable discussing concerns with their regular doctor.
