The judge told the court he shared an email about a possible collaboration with the Kentucky Department for Public Health and a scope of work to produce a master plan for Lytle's Fork recreational area at no cost to the fiscal court.
Michael Johnson described existing trails on Stockdale Road, two old farm bridges and the potential to create water crossings that would form a roughly 4-mile loop inside the park. He said the master plan would document existing trails, recommend best practices for maintenance, and produce a roadmap for the next 10–20 years without obligating the court to immediate construction.
Members asked about access for horse trailers and widening roads; Rob Jones suggested adding pull-offs as a phased improvement to ease access for users with trailers. The court agreed to add the collaboration to the next Friday agenda for formal consideration.
