Judge says engineering bid for Lexus Way traffic signal will be split with city; construction estimate $25K–$30K

The judge told the court he received a proposal from HMB for engineering and permitting to fix the Lexus Way ring-road traffic signal so the station-side signal is active and functioning. The engineering and permitting proposal price is $17,500 and the judge said the city has agreed to split that engineering cost 50/50 with the county.

He added the estimated construction cost for the repair work was approximately $25,000 to $30,000; permitting and scope details will be included in the HMB scope of work that the judge said he will share with the court. The item will be placed on the next fiscal court agenda for formal action and potential procurement.
