No quorum at Sept. 29 meeting; several follow-up tasks recorded, next meeting Oct. 27 at Community Orchard

The chairman determined there was no quorum at the midday meeting, so the board could not approve the Aug. 25, 2026 minutes. The roster in the minutes lists members (Bachmann, Irwin, Henderson, Drennon, Martin) and ex‑officio members including Commissioner Reitzel, Honeywell, Jensen, Schultz and Tipton; the absence of a quorum meant formal votes and approvals were deferred.

The minutes list multiple follow-up tasks to carry forward: revise the Tree Guide PDF and add boulevard-tree material and submit to Jeff for proofing; compile the townwide Dutch elm/disease-tree list (Bryan, Nick, Jay); inspect the community orchard and prepare a prioritized work list; and evaluate the orchard’s mission and potential partners. The meeting adjourned at 1:00 p.m., and the next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 27, 2026 at the Community Orchard.
