During commission reports, a plan commission representative updated the Transportation & Transit Commission on recent planning actions. The Trace Way multifamily project received final rezone/ADR action; the project would provide about 70 units affordable to households at 30–80% of area median income and the developer reported receiving about 99% of requested WHEDA tax credits to support financing.
Other items included zoning or ADR actions for a 52-unit Lacey/Fahey Glen project with underground parking and a large Trilogy assisted-living/skilled-nursing portion of a larger site with 119 units; staff said some construction is expected to start in 2027. Commissioners noted the plans will affect nearby transportation and access and asked staff to monitor potential curb-cut and stop-siting implications as designs progress.
