Fieldwork complete; lab analysis underway with results expected in 6–9 months

Hill told attendees that field sampling is finished and that samples are currently at an EPA research laboratory in North Carolina where analysts are completing method development work. He estimated data analysis would begin as results are returned and that the team anticipates releasing raw data, a technical report and a peer‑reviewed manuscript.

Hill cautioned the group that timing depends on laboratory throughput and method development; he said he expected analysis to move quickly once lab results start arriving and pledged to share findings and slide materials with the advisory group.
