The Lancaster County Board of Commissioners approved a multi-item consent agenda Sept. 29 that included contract renewals, right-of-way payments, a utility permit, and several grant and subaward agreements. The board approved amendments such as a renewal of the Vigilnet SCRAM monitoring contract (estimated cost not to exceed $85,000) and a renewal with WW Grainger for facility maintenance supplies (cost not to exceed $50,000). An amendment to McKesson Medical-Surgical increased the contract by $6,000 to a not-to-exceed total of $12,000.
The consent package also included grant and subaward agreements: a $75,000 grant contract with Family Service Lincoln for School-Based Therapeutic Services (funded by the Nebraska Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice), a Clyde Malone Community Center subaward not to exceed $61,950 for an Education Advocate Program (federally funded), a $30,000 grant to Friendship Home of Lincoln for coordinated community response to domestic violence (VAWA funds), and a $100,038 subaward to St. Monica’s Home for substance use treatment and peer support. The board approved the full consent package by unanimous vote (5-0).
