At its Sept. 29 session the Tom Green County Commissioners Court approved a range of consent and regular-agenda items: purchase orders, contract renewals and service awards, budget amendments, replat approvals, training travel and grant acceptances.
Key approvals included authorization to use Sourcewell contract 050625-C to buy a trailer-mounted patcher for $113,286.40 (approved), awarding RFB 27002 countywide plumbing services to Black Plumbing Services LLC (one-year term with optional renewals), acceptance of a $2,500 in-kind library donation, approval for the sheriff's office to pay $908 for reserve deputy Christopher Rokey's training, adoption of an $82,917 Texas indigent defense formula grant budget, and the decision to submit a USDOT planning grant application seeking $1,500,000 for culvert and crossings planning. The replat motions for Windsor Estates (Lots 37–58) and Stonewall Keys (Lots 32 & 33) were approved.
On the personnel item D (the county judge's administrative assistant), after extended debate the court approved the action with a 4–1 vote; the court directed staff to supply clearer policy verbiage and the math behind personnel pay adjustments. Routine motions throughout the meeting were carried by voice vote; detailed PAF and contract documents were provided to commissioners during the session and are available in the county record.
