Cole County awards property tax payment services contract to Invoice Cloud/Nvoice Cloud

Staff recommended awarding bid 2026-15 for property-tax payment services to Invoice Cloud (referred to in the meeting as Nvoice Cloud), noting features such as real-time paid receipts, the ability to send text and email notices, and reminder functionality for taxpayers. Commissioners asked about implementation and the planned postcard reminder schedule; staff said they plan a January postcard reminder program followed by delinquent notices in April.

"The company we wanna go with is Nvoice Cloud," said a staff member (S4). Commissioner (S6) moved to award the bid to Nvoice Cloud Inc.; commissioners voiced assent and the motion passed. Staff indicated there was no contract to sign that day and that award documentation (bid tab) will be retained in meeting records.
