Transportation Director Richard Mendoza used the director's report to highlight a regional tool and project milestones.
Mendoza announced the launch of CTX Go, a collaborative regional app that aggregates construction project information so travelers can plan commutes and mitigate construction impacts. He also noted three recent ribbon cuttings — Burrell Drive, McNeil Drive and the Shoal Creek Trail — and described the living streets program applications that are active.
On aviation, Mendoza said the Austin Airport recorded two record months in June and July with "over 2,100,000 in each one of those months" in boardings and on‑boardings and said the airport is planning open houses for new concession and lounge announcements in November.
The director's report closed with staff offers to continue providing updates on bond‑funded mobility delivery and an invitation to the CTX Go announcement in the foyer following the meeting.
