TRC forwards Orange Camp Commercial South preliminary plat to planning board

The Technical Review Committee voted to forward the preliminary plat for the Orange Camp Commercial South project to the planning board after the applicant agreed to address outstanding comments.

"Motion to, forward the preliminary plat to planning board, once subject to all the comments being addressed," said the Committee member who made the motion. The Chair called for a second and the committee approved the motion by voice vote.

The motion follows a brief technical discussion about stormwater calculations and tree mitigation. The project representative said the team would submit revised designs and that "we're good with the prepost volume of the stormwater." The Chair asked for a clear on-the-record statement about stormwater because the committee did not yet have definitive documentation: "Can we just have something on the record indicating this stormwater position so that we are clear because we don't have anything at this point?"

Staff indicated they had not yet completed a full review of the most recent resubmittal and requested an opportunity to do so before the planning board hearing. The committee's action forwards the plat to the planning board for its consideration once staff confirms outstanding comments have been addressed.

The committee completed the procedural vote in a brief session and adjourned at 01:40.
