Board schedules annual report presentation, discusses meeting procedures and adjourns

Following the appeal the board turned to administrative business: staff reminded members the board is scheduled to present its annual report to the city commission on Oct. 5 and asked members for items to include. The board discussed procedures for recognizing speakers and whether to adopt stricter Robert’s Rules style acknowledgement; members agreed to be mindful of chair acknowledgements but did not change formal rules that night.

Staff also told the board there has been feedback that some viewers cannot hear speakers during streamed meetings and emphasized the need for members to speak directly into microphones. The board noted tentative future meeting dates (Nov. 18 and Dec. 16) and then adjourned.
